The "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China" was deliberated and approved by the 13^th National People's Congress on May 28^th, 2020. The Code will be fully implemented on January 1^st, 2021. The world is stabilized by law, and the heart of people is motivated by virtue. As the first law named after a code in New China, the Civil Code is an "encyclopedia of social life" and is of great significance to promoting the prosperity and development of the socialist market economy.

 

In order to take the lead in publicizing, advancing and guaranteeing the implementation of the Civil Code, in September 2020, Wang Huiping, Cheng Peng and Li Chao, partners of Jinrui, were invited to carried out legal knowledge training on the Civil Code for major companies such as Huadian Fuxin Inner Mongolia Company, Beijing Clean Energy Power Beijing Branch, Jingneng Shiyan Thermal Power, Inner Mongolia Jingning Thermal Power, Inner Mongolia Huaning Thermal Power, Inner Mongolia Jingtai Power Generation, and Jingneng Shuangxin Power Generation.

 

At the training site, lawyer Wang Huiping introduced the background, legislative process, significance and structure of the Civil Code, explained the latest rules of the various parts of the Civil Code, then combined the business development of energy companies to summarize the legal risks in detail that may be encountered in the process of signing and fulfilling the power supply contract, and put forward preventive measures and suggestions, and some typical cases are interspersed for everyone to understand.

 

Starting from the major developments and innovations of the "Civil Code" contract compilation, lawyer Cheng Peng took the practical problems of companies and individuals in the development of thermal power enterprises as a foothold, and analyzed electronic contracts, standard contracts, guarantee methods, etc. which are closely related to actual work in a simple way. The enterprise staff has a more comprehensive understanding of contract part.

 

Lawer Li Chao explained the innovations of the Civil Code and the key contents and key issues of the "seven parts" in a simple way.
